Overview
Purpose: The Wisconsin Public Health Research Network (WPHRN) links public health practitioners and researchers to answer questions and disseminate discoveries that can be applied to improve practice and population health.
Vision: The network initiates and actively supports collaboration between public health practitioners and researchers to plan, conduct, and disseminate findings from public health practice-relevant research.
Goals: 1) Grow number and quality of partnerships, 2) Increase dissemination of research findings and assess spread of findings, 3) Increase the amount of research conducted, and, 4) Grow funding to sustain the network
WPHRN membership includes public health professionals, researchers, students, and others from health departments, academic settings, and professional organizations. Membership is free and encouraged to anyone interested in public health practice or public health research in Wisconsin.
