Dr. Bellamy's research interests are in public health services and systems, including emergency preparedness, workforce development, and health disparities. For the past 10 years, he has been a faculty member in Nuclear Medicine Technology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Currently, he is the director of the Nuclear Medicine Advanced Associate (NMAA) Program. The NMAA Program is the first master's degree program in the country for mid-level nuclear medicine physician extenders. The program is offered through a consortium with Saint Louis University, University of Missouri at Columbia, and George Regents University; UAMS is the degree-granting institution.
