Maggie Paul is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the public health program at New York University. Her dissertation research is focused on estimating the impact of investment in public health and other social welfare programs on population health in the United States. In addition to completing her dissertation research, Paul works as a research analyst in the Department of Population Health at the NYU School of Medicine, where she is a member of an evaluation team responsible for designing and implementing several large-scale mixed methods process monitoring studies and impact evaluations of health system-related interventions in and around New York City. Prior to joining NYU, Paul earned her MS in bioethics, policy and law from Arizona State University and worked as a data analyst at the Maricopa County Department of Public Health, Office of Epidemiology.
