Overview

The Kentucky PBRN replicated the study of local variation in H1N1 response developed for North Carolina, and added a new component focusing specifically on communication patterns among local health departments, primary care providers, and community pharmacists. The study uncovered wide variation and large gaps in communication among these three groups of responders, suggesting many opportunities for improved response.
